Installing a wireless door bell is very easy, and is probably a good choice if you currently do not have a door bell. The door bell system uses radio frequency, so there is no need to hassle with running wires through your walls. You just need to follow these steps to install your own wireless door bell. Determine how many remote push button units you need by deciding how many entrance doors you want to equip with a door bell. You can choose from a variety of sounds, so find one you like.

Take INTENDVISION wireless door bell for example. It comes with 2 plug in receivers and 1 push button transmitter which is perfect for small 2-story homes. You can also DIY to meet your requirement by pairing more INTENDVISION wireless doorbell receivers and transmitters. Ideal for large spaces with several entrance or multiple floors.
Determine how many receivers, or sound units, you want or need. Wireless door bells allow you to put receivers throughout your home so you will always be able to hear the doorbell-if that's what you want. No matter you are in the garden or kitchen, you will always be easily informed when someone is calling from outside.
Look for a wireless door bell kit containing any additional features you want. You can get a simple kit or get something with intercom capabilities or even video features. Some kits even have a light that flashes in sync with the bell to help residents with hearing impairments.
1. Install battery. Usually there would be a little slot in the bottom of the remote transmitter. You can insert it with the screwdriver provided and pop the cover. Then you can install the battery easily. Only the push button transmitter is battery operated.
2. Plug in the receiver into an wall outlet. Check your door bell's packaging to see if the button and receiver have a maximum distance they can be located from one another. If you have more than one receiver, determine the other locations for them and plug them in.
3. Screw the push button unit into the wall outside near the door, or attach the door bell with an adhesive tape.
Tips
Metal will interfere with the signal and shorten the transmission range. Please place the transmitter in areas away from metals
